Waste Loop started as a grassroots organization and continues to grow through the help of individual and collective action in the community working together towards innovative solutions to our waste stream challenges. Waste Loop is always looking for ways to connect people’s talents and passions to our waste reduction programs and efforts in the community.

GET INVOLVED

Interested in volunteering with Waste Loop?

There are a myriad of ways that you can help contribute to the mission of Waste Loop in our community. While we always appreciate folks that will "help with anything", we also want to best utilize the resources available to us, which means leveraging the skills, interests, and passions of our volunteers! Here are some possible volunteer opportunities.
  • Staff an activity/information table at community events.
  • Repair Cafes - fixers and greeters needed.
  • Help support the new Reuse Innovation Center through organizing materials, cleaning, and light construction projects.
  • Toward Zero Waste event ambassadors.
  • Waste audit sorters.
  • Eco-tip or blogging to share how you work towards sustainability in your own life.
  • Partner with WL to host a workshop or event focused on waste reduction or sustainability.
