Do you have outdoor gear that needs fixing? What about skills or tools that could help fix things? Or do you want to learn some new DIY repair skills? Join us for a night of helping each other mend our well loved gear so we can keep it out of the landfill!
If you are interested in volunteering as a fixer, please email us at contact@wasteloop.org
Come hang out, reduce your textile waste, and practice mending with us!
Do you know that 34 billion pounds of textile 'waste' is generated in the US alone, every single year?
In this series of DIY workshops, we will be meeting monthly to learn different mending and repair techniques. Please bring any garments or other textiles you would like to mend to extend their life and keep them out of the landfill. Mending materials such as scrap fabric for patches and thread for stitching will be supplied by Waste Loop.
Come celebrate Earth Day with Waste Loop!
The Leavenworth Community Earth Day Fair is a free event open to all. It will be a day full of activities, music, food, education, and fun for all ages. Join us to celebrate Mother Earth and all the environmental and community sustainability work being done in our Valley!
